In the ministry of “A Time to Dance” we use our God given talent and ability to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to as wide an audience possible through dance, drama and witnessing.
We endeavor to include dance as a part of worship within church life using movement through dance that express faith.
We are a ministry of Christian believers called by God to maintain a high standard of excellence artistically, technically, spiritually, and morally.
We hold ourselves accountable to the word of God, a local church and to one another.
Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit; through dance we glorify the Lord, present the gospel, and move in the power of the Holy Spirit!

Pastor Felicity Cunningham

Artistic Director

Felicity Cunningham is the founder and director of A Time to Dance since 2011. Born in Johanesburg, Soiuth Africa, she currently serves as the Women's Pastor and Dance Director at Remnant Ministries Church in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Having been a professional dancer with the dance theater of Harlem under the direction of Arthur Mitchel, her dance experience has spanned over 30 years in more than 15 countries around the world.

Her passion for dance created a desire to teach and pass on all she has learned to anyone who loves to dance and has thus answered the call upon her life to teach and equip women in the Word of God. She uses all her gifts, talents, and abilities to impart truth, wisdom, and skill to women and children.

Born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Charlene has been dancing and performing since the age of five. She is an alumna of the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas, and a scholarship recipient at both the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and the University of Michigan. Charlene has taught dance at the Flint School for Performing Arts and Creative Expressions Dance Studio in Flint, MI. She also participated in a National Endowment for the Arts initiative designed to bridge the gap between arts and education, and she has been an active member of the International Association of Blacks in Dance (IABD), as well as in the fields of dance photography and costume design.

Charlene has been an integral part of A Time to Dance since the early days of Pastor Felicity’s vision to worship the Lord through dance, beginning around 2002. She considers it an honor to worship our Creator through the gifts, talents, and creativity He has so generously given. Charlene is excited to see what God has in store for A Time to Dance as the company continues to grow.
